Nov 12, 2008 Jan Vass boarded a plane in London with one thought in his mind: "I CAN'T WAIT to get to Palmetto Motorsports"!! (And I hope they really exist!). Jan knew what awaited him here:

Nov 14th We rushed his tag work thru,
Nov 15th, less than 72 hrs after leaving London England, Jan was burning gas on his new 2009 Kawasaki KLR650E, specially equipped with lots of space for storage and gear! Jan said his first stop was going to be
Ft Lauderdale Beach.
Eddie and me (Rich) tried to convince Jan to take a ride up the PCH in California while he's here in the states. I'd say there's about a 50-50 chance that he'll actually do it. Jan has promised to keep us up to date as he wanders around our hemisphere. In about a month or so he's going to head south into Mexico, then keep heading South until "Either my luck or my money runs out" to quote him. So stay tuned as Jan keeps us posted via his BLOG. After more than 8 months and 15,000 miles Jan has successfully ended his journey in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While we will miss his weekly updates about his adventure, we are all very happy that he made it without incident! Thanks again Jan, and as always Godspeed!
